Description
When I was a young teenager, my uncle and I were travelling in a dinghy back to Thursday Island from Badu Island and along the way I witnessed a shark attack a turtle. I quickly told my uncle what I had seen and he told me that it would have been a tiger shark. He then told me, “that’s why you must be careful when jumping for mating turtle during the mating season”. Tiger shark stalk turtle from beneath while the turtles float on the surface making jumping for turtle dangerous. This print reminds me to be cautious when jumping for turtle.
