Description
The Dungal (bush spirits) of the tropical Australian rainforest, are shy to those looking for them and are sighted only between the hours of sunset and daybreak. They are well camouflaged and take on the appearance of elongated leafy foliage. Though they rarely harm people, Dungal are watchful of Kuku Yalanji children at play during times of flood or fire and help to guide them back to camp.
