Description
Surrounding the island of Erub, there are many fish traps. Built with stones, these ancient fish traps allow sea creatures to wander in during the high tide and become trapped within these stonewalls. Once it is low tide, gathering seafood is easy. Neasor (better known as Asorr – spider shell) are a tasteful treat. When I was younger, my mother and I would walk to the fish traps during the afternoon low tide to collect Asorr to roast on a fire.
