Description
Waru is the Miriam word for green turtle and kaz means small. This print shows how the waru kaz is playing in the water or hiding in the seaweeds. On the mainland (Australia) kids have birds and guinea pigs as pets, but in the Torres Strait Islands when I was growing up we had waru kaz as pets.
